A HUGE thank you to our generous and always supportive PTA for this awesome addition to our school!  This is on the fence facing Brookhaven Ave.  It looks amazing and I've already been hearing such great feedback!  Please tell them thank you if you have the chance!
Amy Sanchez, James & Eva Harman and their kids, Cat Rash & Patsy Lovell put this up over two days of hard work! #theyloveyouandourkids! #weareluckyandloved

Welcome back team!
I hope you all had a fantastic vacation filled with good health, relaxation, family, friends and some of your favorite activities! I hope you are feeling recharged and ready to take on the rest of the school year! I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Monday!

1. PBIS Pep Rally: We'll have our Pep Rally on Wed. at 9:45 am.  It is what was postponed last fall.  We'll meet at the lunch area.  Grades 4-6 will sit on the lunch tables, grade 1 in chairs next to Lisa's room, grades PK, K, 2 & 3 on the blacktop in front of the tables facing the playground.  Please be sure that EVERY student brings a Bear Hug to the assembly with their FIRST and LAST name on it.  We'll be doing some drawings during the assembly for prizes.  Recess will be directly after our assembly.  We anticipate a 15-20 min assembly.  Thank you for your flexibility!!

2. Benchmark Training:   K-5 teachers, just a reminder: if you have not yet, be sure to sign up for the next Benchmark trainings being offered.  Coordinate with Karen regarding your chosen date and sub.

3. Kindness Challenge: I realize I did not make the announcement formally for this.  Kim was our winner!!  Thank you to all who participated!  I hope you enjoyed it and more importantly, thank you for leading with and modeling kindness every day!  Our students live what they see as much or more than what they're told.   Thank you for continuing to make Brookhaven a great place for kids and adults!  #bemorebear #yourock

4. Wednesday DWI: our staff meeting on Wednesday will be with Kim Voge and she'll be sharing Hyperdocs.  Bring your charged chrome book to the meeting.  It's going to be a great training!  If you're willing to host this in your classroom, please let me know.  Thank you! :)

Welcome Back!!
